Consumer Economic Conditions Quarter IV-2018 Increases

Abstract

ITK Kalimantan Tengah in quarter IV-2018 amounted to 105.39, meaning that the economic conditions of consumers in quarter IV-2018 increased compared to the previous quarter. Consumer optimism in quarter IV-2018 was lower than quarter III-2018 (ITK value of 106.65).
The improvement in consumer economic conditions in the fourth quarter of 2018 was mainly driven by consumption levels (index value of 114.01), the effect of inflation on consumption (index value of 103.58), and current income (index value of 102.73).
The value of ITK in Kalimantan Tengah in quarter I-2019 is estimated at 109.07, which means that the economic conditions of consumers are expected to increase. Consumer optimism is estimated to be higher than quarter IV-2018 (ITK value of 105.39).
