Abstract

The total value of exports fell 9.31 percent from US $ 193.97 million (April 2019) to US $ 175.92 million (May 2019).

Mineral fuel is still the main export commodity (US $ 111.80 million), contributing 63.55 percent of total exports.

Japan is the main trading partner country for export destinations (US $ 65.42 million), contributing 37.19 percent of total exports.

Kumai Port dominates Kalimantan Tengah's export commodity load service (US $ 32.54 million), contributing 18.50 percent of total exports.

Cumulatively, the total value of exports rose 31.03 percent from US $ 806.92 million (January-May 2018) to US $ 1,057.29 million (January-May 2019).

The total value of imports fell 47.36 percent from US $ 4.35 million (April 2019) to US $ 2.29 million (May 2019). Cumulatively, it also fell 63.87 percent from US $ 83.55 million (January-May 2018) to US $ 30.19 million (January-May 2019).

The foreign trade balance was a surplus of US $ 173.63 million (May 2019) and US $ 1,027.10 million (January-May 2019).
