Abstract

The number of guests staying at star hotels fell 0.58 percent, from 26,291 people (November 2019) to 26,138 people (December 2019). While the number of guests staying at non-star hotels rose 3.73 percent, from 62,011 people (November 2019) to 64,322 people (December 2019).

During 2019, the number of guests staying at star hotels rose 5.45 percent, from 272,851 people (January-December 2018) to 287,719 people (January-December 2019). In contrast, the number of guests at non-star hotels fell 7.51 percent, from 733,096 people (January-December 2018) to 678,024 people (January-December 2019).

Room occupancy rate (ROR) of star hotels fell 2.52 points, from 58.46 percent (November 2019) to 55.94 percent (December 2019). In the same period, the ROR of non-star hotels also fell 0.70 points, from 24.48 percent (November 2019) to 23.78 percent (December 2019).

The average length of stay (RLTM) in star hotels (1.43 days), longer than those in non-star hotels (1.17 days).
