Abstract

Combined Farmer Exchange Rate(FER) in Kalimantan Tengah Province rose 1.18 percent, from 102.81 (September 2020) to 104.02 (October 2020). This was influenced by the increase in the exchange rate of the smallholder estate crops subsector (2.28 percent) and livestock (1.56 percent).

The highest FER occurred in the smallholder plantation sub-sector (107.33), followed by livestock (104.20), fisheries (101.16), food crops (99.83) and horticulture (93.63).

The Exchange Rate of Agricultural Household Businesses increased by 1.42 percent, from 103.04 (September 2020) to 104.50 (October 2020).

The price index received by farmers (𝐼𝑡) increased 1.47 percent and the price index paid by farmers (𝐼𝑏) also increased 0.29 percent.

The Household Consumption Index (IKRT) in rural areas was 106.24 percent or an inflation of 0.37 percent occurred, which was mainly due to the increase in the price index for all expenditure groups except for recreation, sports and culture.
