Abstract

The total export value of Kalimantan Tengah in October 2020 rose 19.71 percent compared to September 2020, namely from US $ 117.95 million to US $ 141.20 million.

Jewelry / gems exports increased by 282.98 percent, from US $ 8.93 million (September 2020) to US $ 34.20 million (October 2020).

Singapore, Japan and China were the main export destinations for Kalimantan Tengah during October 2020.

The contribution of export trade transportation services for all ports in the Kalimantan Tengah region has decreased, from 34.27 percent (September 2020) to 25.61 percent (October 2020)

Cumulatively, the total export value decreased by 18.56 percent, from US $ 1,820.45 million (January-October 2019) to US $ 1,482.63 million (January-October 2020).

The total import value decreased by 13.01 percent from US $ 4.38 million (September 2020) to US $ 3.81 million (October 2020).

Cumulatively, the import value decreased by 53.99 percent from US $ 61.51 million (January-October 2019) to US $ 28.30 million (January-October 2020).

The foreign trade balance experienced a surplus of US $ 137.39 million in October 2020 and US $ 1,454.33 million in the January-October 2020 period.
