October 2020, ROR for star hotels reaches 53.47%

Abstract

The room occupancy rate (ROR) of star hotels during October 2020 rose 9.62 points compared to September 2020, from 43.85 percent to 53.47 percent. Meanwhile, the ROR for non-star hotels fell 0.62 points, from 16.90 percent to 16.28 percent.

The average length of stay in October 2020 at star hotels reaches 1.65 days, while non-star hotels are 1.13 days.

The number of guests staying at star hotels in October 2020 rose 27.02 percent compared to the previous month, and at non-star hotels also rose 4.88 percent.

Cumulatively, from January to October 2020, the number of guests staying at star hotels fell 40.63 percent over the same period the previous year, and at non-star hotels also fell 9.76 percent.
