Kalimantan Tengah Economy Quarter IV-2022 Grows 5.70 Percent (Y-on-Y)

Abstract

Kalimantan Tengah's economy based on the size of the Gross Regional Domestic Product (GDP) at current prices in 2022 reaches IDR 199.9 trillion, at constant prices in 2010 it reaches IDR 109.1 trillion and the GRDP per capita reaches IDR 72.9 million.

Kalimantan Tengah's economy in 2022 will grow 6.45 percent. From the production side, Mining and Quarrying experienced the highest growth of 15.74 percent. Meanwhile, from the expenditure side, the Goods and Services Export Component experienced the highest growth of 20.23 percent.

Kalimantan Tengah's economy in quarter IV-2022 against quarter IV-2021 (y-on-y) grew by 5.70 percent. From the production side, the highest growth occurred in the Electricity and Gas Procurement Business Field of 12.20 percent. Meanwhile, from the expense side, the component that grew the highest was the Export of Goods and Services Component of 26.56 percent.

Kalimantan Tengah's economy in quarter IV-2022 compared to quarter III-2022 grew by 5.70 percent (q-to-q). From the production side, the highest growth was achieved by the Construction category which grew by 27.57 percent. From the expenditure side, the Government Consumption Expenditure Component (PK-P) experienced the highest growth of 23.97 percent.

Kalimantan's economic structure spatially in 2022 will still be dominated by East Kalimantan Province by 52.14 percent. Kalimantan Tengah Province is in fourth place with a contribution of 11.32 percent.
