Abstract

Farmer Exchange Rate (NTP) is a comparison of the price index received by farmers (It) to the price index paid by farmers (Ib).

NTP is an indicator to see the level of ability/purchasing power of farmers in rural areas. NTP also shows the exchangeability (terms of trade) of agricultural products for goods and services consumed and for production costs.

Kalimantan Tengah Combined NTP in December 2023 increased by 1.40 percent compared to November 2023, namely from 119.99 to 121.67. This increase was caused by the increase in exchange rates in several subsectors, namely food crops rose by 0.13 percent, smallholder plantation crops by 2.24 percent, and livestock by 1.36 percent.

In December 2023, there will be an increase in the Household Consumption Index (IKRT) in Kalimantan Tengah by 0.67 percent, which is mainly due to an increase in the Food, Beverage and Tobacco group index (1.03 percent); Clothing and Footwear group (0.33 percent); Health group (0.33 percent); and the Supplies, Equipment and Routine Household Maintenance group (0.27 percent).

Kalimantan Tengah Agricultural Household Business Exchange Rate (NTUP) in December 2023 increased by 2.00 percent, from 121.30 (November 2023) to 123.72 (December 2023).
