Abstract

The export value of Kalimantan Tengah in March 2024 reached US$333.98 million, down 19.85 percent compared to February 2024, and decreased by 28.68 percent compared to March 2023. 
  • Coal, palm oil, plywood, zirconium ore, niobium, tantalum, lignite, and processed wood are the main export commodities of Kalimantan Tengah during March 2024. 
  • Japan, India, and China are the main destination countries for Kalimantan Tengah's exports during March 2024. The import value of Kalimantan Tengah during March 2024 reached US$7.96 million, up 28.39 percent compared to February 2024 and up 136.20 percent compared to March 2023. 
  • Sorting machines, fertilizers, steam boilers, and asphalt are the main import commodities of Kalimantan Tengah during March 2024. 
  • Malaysia, China, and the Russian Federation are the main countries of origin for Kalimantan Tengah's imports during March 2024. 
  • The foreign trade balance of Kalimantan Tengah in March 2024 experienced a surplus of US$326.02 million.
