Abstract

During April 2016, total value of is US $ 53.30 million, decreasing US $ 21.65 million or 28.88 percent from the previous month. The largest contribution to exports is from mineral fuels amounted to US $ 21.65 million, or 41.25 percent of total export value. Pakistan is the main exports destination country with US $ 18.58 million, or 34.86 percent of total export value. Sampit port plays a role in the amount of US $ 12.84 million, or 24.09 percent of total export value. The total value of imports during April 2016 was US $ 15.68 million, increasing US $ 14.79 million compared to the previous month. In the same month, the balance of trade with major trading partners had a surplus of US $ 37.62 million.
