Abstract

During May 2016, total exports worth US$ 77.74 million, increasing US$ 24.44 million or 45.85 percent compared to the previous month.

During January-May 2016, total exports worth US$ 390.52 million, decreasing US$ 189.92 million or 32.72 percent compared to the same period in 2015. The total value of imports during May 2016 was US $1.22 million, decreasing US$ 14.46 million or 92.22 percent compared to the previous month.

The balance of trade with major trading partners had a surplus of US$ 76.52 million during May 2016 and US$ 365.87 million during January-May, 2016.
