Abstract

Kalimantan Tengah's Farmer Exchange Rate (FER) fell 0.63 points, from 108.11 percent (January 2020) to 107.48 percent (February 2020). This is influenced by the decline in the exchange rate of the food crops subsector (0.86 points), smallholder plantations (0.84 points), horticulture (0.51 points), and fisheries (0.08 points).

The price index received by farmers (𝐼𝑡) fell 0.09 points while the price index paid by farmers (𝐼𝑏) rose 0.53 points.

The highest FTT occurred in the smallholder estate crops subsector (112.40 percent), followed by livestock (104.50 percent), fisheries (102.71 percent), horticulture (101.50 percent), and food crops (99.99 percent).

Agricultural Household Exchange also fell 0.16 points, from 108.99 percent (January 2020) to 108.83 percent (February 2020).

The Household Consumption Index in rural areas is 106.34 percent or inflation is 0.62 percent. There is an increase in the price index in almost all groups of household expenditure, except in the housing, water, electricity and household fuel expenditure groups.
