December 2021: Kalimantan Tengah's Combined FTT of 131,07, up 2.22% compared to November 2021

Abstract

Farmer's Exchange Rate (NTP) is the ratio of the price index received by farmers (It) to the index of price paid by farmers (Ib).

NTP is one indicator to see the level of ability/purchasing power of farmers in rural areas. NTP also shows the terms of trade (terms of trade) of agricultural products with goods and services consumed as well as for production costs.

Kalimantan Tengah's Joint NTP rose 2.22 percent, from 128.22 (November 2021) to 131.07 (December 2021). This increase was driven by an increase in the exchange rate in several sub-sectors, namely the horticulture sub-sector (9.56 percent), the people's plantation sub-sector (2.69 percent) and the food crops sub-sector (1.22 percent). Meanwhile, two other sub-sectors experienced a decline, namely the livestock sub-sector (2.21 percent) and the fisheries sub-sector (0.70 percent).

In December 2021, there was an increase in the Household Consumption Index (IKRT) in Kalimantan Tengah by 0.30 percent, which was mainly due to an increase in the household equipment, equipment and routine maintenance group as well as the clothing and footwear group.

The Kalimantan Tengah Agricultural Household Business Exchange Rate (NTUP) in December 2021 was 131.46, an increase of 1.61 percent compared to the previous month's NTUP.
