Economy of Kalimantan Tengah Quarter II-2022 7.31 Percent (Y-to-Y)

Abstract

The economy of Kalimantan Tengah based on the amount of Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) based on current prices in the second quarter of 2022 reached Rp49.1 trillion and based on constant 2010 prices reached Rp27.2 trillion.

The economy of Kalimantan Tengah in the second quarter of 2022 compared to the second quarter of 2021 (y-on-y) grew by 7.31 percent. In terms of production, the largest growth occurred in the Mining and Quarrying Business Field of 33.51 percent. Meanwhile, in terms of component expenditure, the highest growth occurred in the Export Component of Goods and Services at 18.55 percent.

The economy of Kalimantan Tengah in the second quarter of 2022 compared to the first quarter of 2022 grew by 2.92 percent (q-to-q). In terms of production, the highest growth was achieved by the category of Government Administration, Defense and Mandatory Social Security which grew by 50.84 percent. In terms of expenditure, the Government Consumption Expenditure Component (PK-P) experienced the highest growth of 19.50 percent.

Economy of Kalimantan Tengah Background World II-2022 against the world II-2021 with 7.32 percent (c-to-c). In terms of production, the Mining and Quarrying Business Field experienced the highest growth of 30.07 percent. Meanwhile, in terms of expenditure, the Export Component of Goods and Services experienced the highest growth of 16.68 percent.

Kalimantan's economic structure spatially in the second quarter of 2022 was still dominated by East Kalimantan by 53.47 percent. growth (y-on-y) for province II-2022 occurred throughout Kalimantan, the highest being the province of Kalimantan Tengah with a growth (y-on-y) of 7.31 percent and a contribution of 11.40 percent.
