January 2023: ROR for star hotels during January 2023 reached 43.45 percent and the number of guests staying was 33,999 people

Abstract

The room occupancy rate (ROR) for star hotels during January 2023 reached 43.45 percent, down 13.31 points compared to December 2022 which was 56.76 percent. Meanwhile, the ROR for non-star hotels fell 3.83 points to 20.90 percent.

Compared to the same month the previous year, the ROR for star hotels in January 2023 rose 0.25 points, while non-star hotels fell 0.60 points.

The number of guests staying at star hotels in January 2023 was 33,999 people, down 21.98 percent compared to the previous month. Meanwhile, the number of guests staying at non-star hotels fell by 40.16 percent.
