Abstract

The export value of Kalimantan Tengah in February 2024 reached US$416.68 million or an increase of 6.16 percent compared to exports in January 2024, but decreased by 17.13 percent compared to exports in February 2023.
  • Coal, palm oil, zirconium ore, processed wood and lignite are Central Kalimantan's main export commodities during February 2024.
  • Japan, China and South Korea will be the main export destination countries for Central Kalimantan during February 2024.
  • The import value of Central Kalimantan during February 2024 reached US$6.20 million, down 49.55 percent compared to January 2024, but up 208.46 percent compared to February 2023.
  • Extraction machines, bituminous asphalt and chemical product catalysts are the main commodities imported by Kalimantan Tengah during February 2024.
  • Malaysia, Singapore and Germany are the main countries of origin for Kalimantan Tengah's imports during February 2024.
  • Kalimantan Tengah's foreign trade balance in February 2024 experienced a surplus of US$410.48 million.
