May 2023: ROR for star hotels reached 54.54 percent and the number of guests staying was 40,641 people

Abstract

The room occupancy rate (ROR) for star hotels during May 2023 reached 54.54 percent, up 15.62 points compared to April 2023 which was 38.92 percent. Meanwhile, the ROR for non-star hotels rose 0.78 points to 21.42 percent.

Compared to the same month the previous year, the ROR for star hotels in May 2023 rose 0.98 points, while non-star hotels rose 1.09 points.

The number of guests staying at star hotels in May 2023 was 40,641 people, an increase of 31.18 percent compared to the previous month. Meanwhile, the number of guests staying at non-star hotels rose 7.09 percent.

July 2021: ROR for star hotels reached 27.80% and the number of guests staying was 12,854 people.

January 2022: ROR for star hotels reached 43.20 percent and the number of guests staying was 28,924 people
